14 January 1962 - 'Skindô' was a musical revue with top local talent like Odete Lara, Trio Irakitan, Sylvia Telles etc. They played 2 shows nightly: 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM from 4 January 4 to 19 January 1962.

This is what Mary Wynne wrote at OESP in 3 January 1962: 'O grande cartaz dessa semana (já muito comentado pelas pessoas que passaram o reveillon no Clube Monte Líbano) é a fabulosa revista 'Skindô', após uma temporada de 1 mês e meio no Copacabana Palace, estreia amanhã no Teatro Record e logo em seguida irá para a Argentina e USA. Com um 'score' de Antonio Carlos Jobim, participação de Aloysio de Oliveira, arranjos de Bill Hitchcock e coreografia de Sonia Shaw & Juan Carlos Beraldi, Miguel Hochman, o 'cast' inclui Odete Lara, Sylvia Telles, Trio Irakitan, Lenita Bruno, Irmãs Marinho, Trio Pagão, Marly Tavarez passistas e ritmistas, modelos, 'girls' etc.

16 March 1962 - The year started with samba and soon turned out to twist - the dance craze that was ressurected by the in-crowd of the Peppermint Lounge in New York. Here's the Peppermint own people doing the twist on the stage of Teatro Record.

Carlos Machado's musical revue 'Oba' was performed at the theatre nightly at 8:30 PM and as soon as they finished they quickly made room for Les Brown & His Orchestra who started at 10:30 PM.

12 August 1962 - revue 'Skindô' is back in S.Paulo after being shown in Buenos Aires, Lisbon & other places in the world.

29 & 30 September 1962 - Chubby Checker performs at Teatro Record on Rua da Consolação. Here you see Brazilian rock singer George Freedman giving Chubby Checker his 'Chico Viola' trophy he got for being one of the 30 best-selling recording-artists for the previous year of 1961.
